Located at 1070 Fairway Road, Miraflores is home of the Music Academy of the West. Santa Barbara Studio of Music has studios in Claeyssens Hall, situated amidst this incredibly beautiful campus where we offer a traditional approach to the study of music, inclusive of piano, composition, and music history. With over 25 years of experience, we understand and take care to teach to the individuality of each student in helping them to discover the joy & reward of a music education. We offer monthly Studio Classes at our home and monthly Studio Recitals at retirement homes and communities throughout Santa Barbara. This gives our students many opportunities to perform during the year, as well as the invaluable experience of community service. Although we work primarily with children, we have many adults that find benefit in [re]discovering music.
